Good Night, Thursday

I’m going to keep it brief tonight. I need to get away from this computer and do something lazy – watch TV, read a book. I haven’t done either of those things this week, except that half hour of daytime television I watched on Monday.

Beckett continues to make incredible progress. His fingers don’t fully extend yet, but they’re getting closer. His walk is getting better; more fluid and smooth.

They say two more weeks in the hospital, I’m hopeful it will be less than that.

Rain coming to the desert tomorrow night and Saturday. I love the warm, spring rains. Washes everything out; makes the sky more crisp. You can see the details of the mountains.

I plan on spending Saturday afternoon by going for a run and then sitting on my back patio. Doing nothing. Maybe sipping on a beer or three and reading a book.

I’m going to lay and bed with Heidi and Brody now and read stories.
